Leroy P. Meredith

Leroy P. Meredith, 66 of Cottonwood, Arizona. He was born on November 3, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio to Leroy and Ann Meredith. He spent forty years as a bomb disposal technician first for the Army then the Navy. He served in Vietnam as an infantryman with the 9th Infantry Division and later as a bomb disposal instructor at Indian Head, Maryland. He worked closely with U.S. Secret Service on several presidential security details including the 1973 Nixon/Agnew Inauguration. He is survived by his son Ben and daughter-in-law Michelle; four grandchildren Katherine, Emily, Devon and Madison; brother Dennis; sister Carol; and ex-wife Betty. He will be joined with his parents in Youngstown, Ohio.
