Lester Brunnenmeyer

Lester Brunnenmeyer, of Clarkdale, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2014. He was born to Lester and Alice Brunnenmeyer in March 1929 in Peoria, Illinois. He is survived by a sister Marjorie of Peoria, IL; his wife Mary Brunnenmeyer; daughter Carol Smith; son David Brunnenmeyer and 5 grandchildren. After graduating Peoria High School he attended the University of Missouri-Rolla and Bradley University where he earned bachelor degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He served for 2 years in the Korean War then took a position with Bendix Corporation in South Bend, Indiana. He worked there for 11 years and attended Michigan State University where he received a Master in Business Administration. His field of work sent him to Huntsville, Alabama to work on the Saturn Rocket. He was called to come to AirResearch in Phoenix in 1965 where he worked for 30 years before retiring to Clarkdale. He was an active member of the Gideon\u0027s and Verde Baptist Church. Donations may be made to Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
