Linda Evans Smith, 67 of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away at home on Monday, April 8. She was born on August 23, 1945 in El Dorado, AR to H.W. Evans Jr. and Laura Evans. Linda attended Smackover High from 1959-1963 then Louisiana Tech from 1964-1966. She worked as an Elementary School teacher from 1969-1981, a dietician from 1981-1983 then a hotel and attraction inspector for AAA from 1983-1987. Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Arthur Smith; son Troy Smith (Liane) of CA; daughter Suzanne Smith of TX; sisters Lark Booth (Darrel) of FL and Christi Laird (Keith) of MS and 7 grandchildren.
