Lisa Marie (Tank) Codere, 43, resident of El Cajon, California passed away in Cottonwood, Arizona on Friday, January 11, 2008. She was born April 2, 1964. Lisa attended Job Corp for two years; following which she worked as a high rise construction welder. She was also the owner and operator of Tanks Gourmet Dawgs. Her work was also her hobbies as she worked doing the things she loved. Lisa also enjoyed swimming, but more than anything she loved being with her family. Lisa leaves behind her spouse of 5 years, Cathy Jo Codere of California; her son, Jesse J. Cordere; as well as, Brandyn A. Longyhore and Arthur J. Fried. A celebration of her life is being planned in San Diego. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com Following is Lisa's favorite poem: When you get what you want in your struggle for self and the world makes you king for a day, Just go to a mirror and look at yourself and see what that man has to say. For it isn't your father, mother, or wife Whose judgement upon you must pass, But the fellow whose verdict counts most in your life is the one staring back from the glass. Some people may think you a straight shooting champ and call you a wonderful guy, But the man in the glass says you're only a bum if you can't look him straight in the eye. He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest, For he's with you clear up to the end, And you passed your most dangerous, difficult test if the man in the glass is your friend. You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life and get pats on your back as you pass, But your final reward will be heartaches and tears, if you've cheated the man in the glass.
