Lucy A. Allen

Lucy A. Allen, 64, of Cottonwood died August 24, 2010 in Phoenix. She was born June 4, 1946 in Jerome the daughter of Domingo and Leonor Alvarez. Lucy worked for YES the Arc for over twenty-five years and was an invaluable employee. She was preceded in death by her father Domingo Alvarez and her husband Derel Allen. She is survived by sons Mike Moody of Cottonwod, Brian Moody of Laveen and Derel Allen of Cottonwood; her mother Leonor Alvarez of Cottonwood; brothers Henry Alvarez (Rose) of Mesa and David Alvarez of Vista, California; sisters Vicky Molina (Larry) and Beatrice Estrada (Fermin), all of Cottonwood, Anita Cota (Armando) of Oracle and Sophia Ballesteros (Jesus) of Cottonwood; and three grandchildren. A Rosary and Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 2 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 4 PM.
