Margaret Ellen Hawthorne

Margaret Ellen Hawthorne, 88, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006. She was born to Ed and Ethel Penn on September 17, 1917 in Webb, Arizona. She was a graduate of Globe High School. Margaret loved to paint and work on crafts. She also loved dogs and birds. She was a member of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church. Most of all, Margaret was a very loving mother, whose loved and helpfulness was extended to anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hawthorne. Margaret leaves behind her son, Gus Hawthorne with his wife, Terri, of Fontana, California; her daughters, Michelle Barbee of Cottonwood, Arizona and Rise Vanderburg with her husband, Mike, of Ft. Wayne, Indiania; her brother, George Penn with his wife, Irene, of Cottonwood, Arizona; her sister, Charlotte Pownell with her husband, Howard, of Milwaukie, Oregon; as well as, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
