Margaret -Peggy- Kelsey

Margaret "Peggy" Langton Leonard/Kelsey, 92 years old, passed away at the home she shared with her daughter on January 16, 2013. Peggy was born in Mobile, Alabama; the daughter of Daniel James Crowley and Sally Roberta Nicholas, both of Mobile. Her five half sisters and 3 half brothers preceded her in death with one being Sister Mary Edwina Kirkpatrick of the Convent of Mercy in Mobile. Peggy was also preceded in death by her grandson James Anthony Butts in 1987 and her husbands: Bert Stevens in 1942 in Mobile, AL; Daniel Joseph O\u0027Donnell in 1978 in Kansas; Leon Gottfried Popp in 1978 in Illinois; Daniel Earl Leonard in 1975 who is buried in Wickenburg, AZ and Leonard J. Kelsey in 1995 who is buried in Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale; family friend Andrew F. Gaydos in 1984 and son-in-law Kenny Shoemake in 2012. Peggy shared a home with her daughter Tracey and her husband Bruce. She is survived by her daughters Mary Mills of Prescott Valley, Kathy Turner and John Wordon of Cottonwood and Tracey and Bruce Ordiway also of Cottonwood; son David O\u0027Donnell and Barbara of Fresno, CA; nephew David and wife Judy Crowley and their two children of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Visitation will be at 10:00am with services at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
