Marion Ellis

Marion Elva Ellis, 77 of Cottonwood, passed away April 23, 2011. She was born May 17, 1933 in Auburn, Michigan. Marion was a homemaker and attended Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, being with her family, knitting and crocheting. Marion was preceded in death by her husband Eugene D. Ellis and her daughter Diane and her two infant sons. She is survived by sons John of Cottonwood, Paul (Connie) of Cottonwood, Mark (Vickie) of Rimrock, Joel (Erin) of Katy, Texas, Aaron of Cottonwood and Daniel (Jennifer) of Hampton, VA; daughters Lynette Souder (Everett) of Hampton, VA, Suzannah Griffin (Dave) of Cottonwood and Denise of Mesa; 40 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:00am at Faith Baptist Church in Cottonwood. Burial was held at the National Cemetery in Phoenix.
