Marjorie Jane (Pownall) Feor, 79, passed away March 9, 2006 at her winter home in Cottonwood, Arizona, after a long illness. She was born February 24, 1927 to Wilfred and Mary Pownall in Brighton, Ontario, Canada. Marjorie was active in the farmerettes during WWII. In 1952 she moved to Rochester, New York with her husband, Louis Feor. Marjorie was a loving and dedicated mother, always possessing and independent and indomitable spirit. She was a working mother when it was not the norm. Marjorie was a long time resident of Rochester, New York, having spent close to 40 years on Gorsline Street. Marjorie later relocated to Brockport, New York and spent her winters in Arizona. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 54 years years, Louis Feor; her daughter, Sharon (Bill) Chipman; her sons, Duane (Denise) Feor, Dale (Gail) Feor, and Kevin (Lisa) Feor; her grandchildren, Damon (Deepa) St. James, Alexandra, Dustin, Rose, David and Jonathan; as well as three great-granddaughters, Cassandra, Dacia, and Gianna St. James. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 6:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, Arizona.
