Mark Matthew Quail

Mark Matthew Quail, 65 of Camp Verde , passed away November 27, 2010 in Scottsdale . He was born July 7, 1945 in Camp Verde to Harvey and Helen Johnson Quail. He attended Ajo Elementary School and Culinary Inst. in Madera , San Jose . He worked for the Indian Action Team Program and in restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area. He attended Middle Verde Baptist Church . Mark was a musician, carver, enjoyed arts and crafts and reading the newspaper. He was noted for always playing his guitar. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Helen; sisters Annabell Lowry, and Loraine Quail and brothers Douglas Kwail Mapatis and Chris Quail. He is survived by brothers Nathan Quail (Alberta) of Middle Verde, David Kwail of Middle Verde; sisters Myrtle Q. Manuel (and the late Richard) of Sells, AZ, Peggy Q. White (Jesse) of Middle Verde, Roberta Quail of Camp Verde and Mary Beauty (and the late Ernie) of Middle Verde; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Middle Verde Rock Church from 6-10pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Middle Verde Gymnasium, 2400 West Datsi Street at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Middle Verde Tribal Cemetery .
