Martha Marvell \u0027\u0027Mamo\u0027\u0027 Kirk, 86, of Camp Verde died at home September 7. She was born December 19, 1917 in Cleveland, Arkansas and moved to Arizona in 1941. Mrs. Kirk was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to garden, can, hunt, fish and be in the great outdoors. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Camp Verde. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Her husband Hoyt Kirk, her son Charles Thomas Kirk, grandsons Johnny T. and Brenden Kirk, her brother Omar Newton and son-in-law Burnis Moore preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Moore of Camp Verde, Nelda Poleyquiva and her husband Clayton of Camp Verde, her daughter-in-law Kathey Kirk of Page; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitiation was held Sept. 9 in the Westcott Funeral Home in Camp Verde. A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 10 in the First Southern Baptist Church in Camp Verde at 10 AM. Burial will be in the Middle Verde Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home directed these arrangements.
