Mary Starkovich Allen

Mary Evelyn Starkovich Allen, 87 of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on October 30, 2015. She was born on November 24, 1927 to Mike and Mary Starkovich in Jerome, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Mike and Bob Starkovich. She is survived by her loving sons, Steve (Claudia), Rick (Kathy) and Terry. She was a proud grandmother to John (Chelcie), Mark, Matthew (Desiree), Geoffrey and great grandmother to Collin, Connor and Carter. Mary graduated from Jerome High School plus received her Bachelor\u0027s degree from the University of Arizona. After working for Continental Bank for many years, she went on to open Three Sons Liquor Store and Jorge\u0027s Villa West Mexican food restaurant. She was president of Woman\u0027s Association of the Allied Beverage Industries, a member of the Phoenix Symphony, The First Families of AZ and enjoyed planning the Jerome High School reunions. She loved to sing and was not shy when asked to belt out a tune. Mary loved life and her many friends and family. She will be sadly missed. Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 5:30 pm, St James Catholic Church, Phoenix, AZ. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 am, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cottonwood, AZ Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Clarkdale, AZ.
