Mary Evelyn Keim passed away at about 6 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2010. Mary was born December 4, 1918 to Oscar Bond and Nancy Zink Bond. Mary is survived by her husband, Laurence Harold Keim, son: Laurence Hanly Keim, as well as her brother, Wendell Jay Bond. Mary\u0027s daughter, Mary Morez Bercier McKinley predeceased her. Mary has three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary served as the editor of the Verde Village Round Up, a local periodical that grew from four pages to 22 under her direction. Mary was also an artist who painted many still-life pictures from scenes she saw in her extensive travels around the country with her husband in their recreational vehicles. Mary was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church for many years. She served in many positions, including Sunday school teacher. She also served as a leader in the churches lay Witness Mission, witnessing and teaching of Christ for over 35 years. She touched many, many lives of all ages, including her Monday School class for neighborhood children of all denominations. She lived a life of service to our Lord Jesus Christ, as she served others. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to family, friends, and those in need. A memorial service will be held at Mountain View United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 3, 2 p.m..
