Mary Ellen Leeper

Mary Ellen Leeper, 87 of Cottonwood, passed away on October 15, 2012. She was born on November 6, 1924 in Mack, Colorado to Theodore Wassenberg and Goldie Todd. Mary was a Life Member D.A.V. In Ft. Collins, CO and a nature lover. She belonged to AARP, Clemenceau Museum, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, former President and member of the Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild, secretary of the Business and Professional Women\u0027s Club, member and secretary of the Mobile Home Association and she sold poppies for the Veterans. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and husband Arnold "Bud" Leeper. She is survived by sister Patricia A. Rose of Colorado Springs, CO and several nieces and nephews. Burial has already taken place in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
