Mary M. Staten

Mary M. Staten, age 60, resident of Cornville, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008 in Cottonwood. She was the daughter of David and Mary LaCour; born April 17, 1948 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Mary was a member of the Faith Tabernacle and the Pastor\u0027s Wife. Professionally, she was a Registered Nurse. Mary had a great love for people, and she enjoyed entertaining. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 39 years, David Staten of Cornville; two sons, David (Aimee) Staten of Thatcher, Arizona, and Mark (Heather) Staten of Cornville; her brother, David (Jennifer) Staten of Houston, Texas; six sisters, Betty (Albert) Zielke of Puyallup, Washington, Audrey (Harry) Olson Vancouver, Washington, Ethel Rohrer, Erlene LaCour, Evelyn LaCour, and Elaine (Randy) Bradley of Cerritos, California; and one grandchild. A Memorial Service was held at Westcott Funeral Home on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00am. Mary will be laid to rest in Clarkdale at the Valley View Cemetery.
