Matthew Busich , 75 of Bridgeport, passed unexpectly on June 1, 2011. He was born on July 20, 1935, in Bridgeport Arizona to Pete and Dorothy Busich. Matthew was a hard worker the majority of his life. One of his first jobs began when he was a young boy, cleaning the irrigation ditch that runs through the Cottonwood area. He also worked at the local sawmill that operated in Cottonwood many years ago. As a young man Matthew began working for the Phoenix Cement Plant and was a loyal employee for 37 years. Matthew enjoyed doing John Deere tractor work on the family\u0027s acreage in Bridgeport. In his later years, Matthew was a member of the Arizona Flywheelers. Matthew is preceded in death by father, his mother and two sisters, Rose and Katherine. He is survived by two sisters, Madeline and Eva of Phoenix, AZ; nephew Robert Busich, Sarah and two great-nieces Brittney, Ashlynn and one great-nephew Hayden of Glendale, AZ. Matthew thoroughly enjoyed life and all that it had to offer. Matt loved many people and many people loved Matt. To those who Matt called "Friend", no flowers or donations are necessary, just show up and share your memories.
