Mattie Rose Lee Budd

Mattie Rose Lee Budd, 75, of McGuireville died August 11. She was born February 5, 1935 in Baxley, Georgia, the daughter of Eli and Edell (Mency) Carter. Her husband, Russell T. Budd died in June. She leaves sons James "Ben" Mixon (Jennifer) of Phoenix, John Eason (Gina) and Mark Johnson; daughters Sheila Burtis (David) of Glendale and Deborah Wada (Mike) of Phoenix; four brothers and four sisters, all of Baxley, Georgia; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, August 21 in the Camp Verde Chapel of the Westcott Funeral Home at 10 AM. A reception will follow in the funeral homes recpetion room.
