"Life is a flicker of an eyelash" Melvin David Boda was born January 24, 1929 in Fon du Lac Wisconson. He entered into the Navy in 1946 and served 3 years. He then married his life time mate of 60 years and moved to Southern California where they lived and raised 3 children for the next 30 years. Mel retired after working 30 years as a top salesman for Bridgford Foods. He and his wife moved to Cottonwood, AZ where theey had built a home in 1994 and they celebrated thier final years there for 17 years. Mel is survived by his sister, Marlene Fiekema of Garden Grove, CA; his two sons Steven Boda of San Jose, CA and Mark Boda of Phelan, CA and his daughter, Renee Olson of Cottonwood, AZ. Eccl 12:7 A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4 in the Westcott Funeral Home at at 12 noon. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception room.
