Michael Alan Stillion passed away on December 12, 2024. Mike was the youngest of five children, brother to sisters Sharon Bochman, Nancy (Dale) Koontz, Barbara Podsiadly, and Debbie (Tim) Post, who all loved him greatly. He was known affectionally as “Uncle Mike” to six nieces, three nephews, five great-nieces, three great-nephews, one great-great niece, and three great-great nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Charles and Edith Stillion, and his dearly loved brother-in-law, Carl Podsiadly.

Mike was born on August 7, 1954, and grew up in Phoenix, where he developed a lifelong love of sports, most notably his beloved ASU Sun Devils. Mike played baseball as a teenager and graduated from East High School in 1972. Mike cherished his family and loved getting together for holidays and card games. He was an avid reader, student of history, and lover of old movies. Mike lived most of his life in Phoenix, but for the last 6 years, he enjoyed living in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Mike’s life was deeply rooted in his Christian faith, which was instilled in him during his upbringing in a loving, faith-filled home. He carried his strong beliefs throughout his life, living as a kind, compassionate, and joyful presence to everyone he met. A friend to all and a blessing to his family, Mike will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
