Michael Streppone, 63, of Cornvile died December 20, 2011 at his home. He was born July 10, 1948 in Queens, New York, the son of Emilio and Joan Streppone. He was a graduate of Richmond Hill High School in New York. Mr. Streppone served his country in the Army as a paratrooper during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for the Los Angeles Mass Transit Authority as a bus driver and in rail operations as a supervisor. His hobbies included NASCAR, baseball, puzzles and playing games and cards. Michael will be deeply missed by family and friends and his buddy Luke. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Barbara; a son Darren (wife Laura) of Victorville, California; his mother Joan; brothers Ron Streppone of Alta Loma, California and John Streppone (wife Gloria) of Perrineville, New Jersey; six nieces and four nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 6 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 AM.
