Michael Thomas Voorhees

Michael Thomas Voorhees, 64, resident of Lake Montezuma, passed away at home, on Monday, April 23, 2007. He was born July 1, 1942 to Roger T. and Grace J. Voorhees in Phoenix. He was a graduate of North High School; he served his country with the United States Navy; and he worked as an Electrical Journeyman. Michael loved being in the great outdoors! He enjoyed camping, and his sports were fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed being outdoors at home, planting vegetables and gardening. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger T. Voorhees. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 ½ years, Rebecca Voorhees of Lake Montezuma; his brother, Robert Reed Voorhees of Rimrock; his sister, Mary Pat Levan with her husband James of Lake Montezuma; and his mother, Grace J. Voorhees-Kilgard with her second husband, Walter. A graveside service will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 12:00pm.
