Mike Gross

J. Michael Gross "Mike" passed away at his home in Camp Verde on July 8, 2013 after a brave struggle with pancreatic cancer. Mike was born August 1, 1946 in Dover, PA to Julius and Mary Gross. In 1969 Mike graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agronomy. He began his career in the agriculture chemical field and continued in the golf course turf management industry. Mike was an active member of the Camp Verde community and he served on the board of the Eureka Ditch Company for sixteen years. Mike was a loving husband to Hollie and a proud father of three sons; Matt, Josh and Luke; two step-daughters Denise and Brooklyn and ten beautiful grandchildren, Brady, Justin, Isaiah, Jaycie, Bailey, Kory, Clay, Cole, Gracie and Olive. He was also a dear brother to Julianne. Being a true outdoors man Mike loved to hunt, fish and sports of all kind. He passed his wilderness survival skills and love of the outdoors on to his family. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends. There will be a celebration of Mike\u0027s life in Camp Verde on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 4:00pm. Suggested attire is Oklahoma State Orange.
