Mildred Parker, 98, of Sedona died April 18. She was born March 19, 1912 in Franklin, Illinois, the daughter of Henry Evans and Dora Reed Evans. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker who loved to read and crochet. She enjoyed scenic rides to see the country. She really enjoyed time with her family and to top of her day with ice cream. Her family remembers her as a constant support and the backbone of the family. She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Parker and sons Robert Gene Parker and Herbert Lee Parker. Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter Sally Mauk of Cottonwood; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 10 to 10:45. A graveside service will follow in the Cottonwood Cemetery at 11 AM.
