Myrtle Katherine Smith Bradley

July 23, 1929 — March 30, 2007

Myrtle Katherine Smith Bradley, resident of Camp Verde, came into this world on July 23, 1929 and passed into Heaven on March 30, 2007. The second daughter of Sedona pioneers, Roe Nevel and Myrtle Parlee (Nail) Smith. Katherine was born in Cottonwood (in the section known then as Clemenceau). Through good health and bad, no matter what life threw at her, she kept a smile on her pretty face and happiness in her heart and we are all blessed to have known her. Our beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma always worked hard and always knew the value of family and her heritage. She and her sister, the late Edith Smith Denton, worked closely with the Sedona Historical Society in compiling and sorting our family's history for the Jordan Museum and other endeavors. She loved picnics, fiddle music, and visiting with all our assorted relatives, she enjoyed e-mailing her friends, she was always working on some needlework project, and she made the best bread in the world. Katherine is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald; her daughters, Ronda and Elaine, her son Robert; 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Chapel in Camp Verde on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00am. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
