Nellie Dows

Nellie Dows, 83, of Cottonwood died January 29. She was born July 26, 1925 in Brooklyn, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Nellie Kann. She was a homemaker and mother. Her interests included traveling, golf, bridge and pinochle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Dows, a son, Peter A. Dows and a grandson, Brent Brees. Mrs. Dows is survived by a daughter, Susan Brees; a brother Melvin Kann; a grandson Cameron (Kristen) Brees and a great-grandson, Tracy of Camp Verde. A graveside service will be held Tuesday February 3 at Cottonwood Cemetery at 11 AM. Donations in her memory may be made to RTA Hospice, 70 Bell Rock Plaza, Suite A, Sedona, AZ 86351.
