Ova Lea Walker

Ova Lea Walker was born in Winslow, Arizona, June 30, 1961 and passed away in Cottonwood February 20. She graduated from Mingus Union High School in 1979, and went on to Graduate from Arizona State University in 1987. She returned to the Verde Valley in 1998 where she spent her remaining years. Ova Lea is preceded in death by her sister La Donna and father James. She leaves behind her beloved family: Mother Margaret, sister Roberta (Randy), brothers Jackie (Betsy) and Glenn, and 5 nieces and nephews; Daniel (Annette), Alysia, Samantha, Shelby and Levi. Ova Lea also leaves behind her much loved pets, Heidi, Elmer, Snap and Frizzle and many friends who cherished her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 27th at 2 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Verde Valley Humane Society (P.O Box 1429 Cottonwood, AZ 86326) would be appreciated. We will miss our Beautiful Daughter, Sister, Auntie.
