Patricia Louise Campeau, died at the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Ariozna on April 24, 2005 at the age of 64. Pat was born August 13, 1940 to Harold and Leah Thompson in Ashland, Wisconsin. Her family moved to St. Croix Falls in 1949 from Bayfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from St. Croix Falls High School in 1958. On August 13, 1958 she was united in marriage to James P. Campeau. They lived in various cities in the United States as well as Japan, Guam, and Hawaii moving to St. Croix Falls when Jim retired from the U.S. Navy in 1976. She and Jim moved to Cottonwood, Arizona in 2001, and they are members of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. Pat underwent a stem cell transplant on 2002 at the University of Arizona Medical Center. She is survived by her husband James of Cottonwood, son Jim. Jr. of St. Croix Falls, daughter April Campeau of Phoenix, son Jay (Donna) of Osceola, brother Harold Thompson, Jr. (Helen) of Owatonna, MN, sister Marlys Route (James) of St. Croix Falls, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005 at 10 AM, conducted by Pastor Rick Alpers of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. Location of the memorial service will be the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Willard \u0026 Mingus in Cottonwood. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society Relay for Life. Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood is assisting with arrangements.
