Patricia Marie (known as Pat or Patty) was born to Charlcia Mendenhall Moore and Cecil C. Moore, of Central Oregon pioneer stock, on November 10, 1926, in Bend, Oregon

She married fellow school classmate J. Reed Howard on April 10, 1948, following his return from the Navy. They ultimately moved to their “home place” in the Lehi area of Mesa, AZ. Upon his retirement, they moved to Cottonwood, Arizona, where he passed away in 2013.

Pat, always interested in family history, became an expert in genealogy research through her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was active in her church, holding many positions over the years.

She is survived by her 3 daughters; Shannon Jordan (Hal), Lucinda Reynolds (Jay) and Melinda Wood (James) her sister Nancy Moore (Lucy), and 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews
