Patricia -Mari- Medley

Early in the morning of June 15, 2016, Patricia "Mari" Medley, 84 of Cottonwood, saddled her favorite horse Beau and rode to heaven to be united once again with her husband, the love of her life, Ernie Medley, who had been waiting for her for 16 years. Mari enjoyed riding horses and hunting, and loved boxer dogs. Mari and Ernie moved to Camp Verde in 1976, and soon made their permanent home in Cottonwood. Mari was preceded in death by her husband Ernie in 2000. She is survived by a brother Gus Adams of Missouri and sister Helen Porter of California, son Bill Medley of Lake Havasu City and daughter Birdi Fitch of Camp Verde, good friend Glen Morrison, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 6:30pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Donations in Mari\u0027s memory may be made to the Verde Valley Humane Society, 1520 W.
