Patricia Ann Nelson

Patricia Ann Nelson, 78 of Cottonwood, passed away on August 24, 2013. She was born on June 3, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Martha Toth. Patricia attended Phoenix Union High School from 1949-1953. She worked for Sevilla \u0026 R.L. Simpson Elementary Schools, Catholic Social Server Adoption Agency, Reynolds Metal and McCrearys. She belonged to Verde Baptist Church, St. Louis the King and St. Vincent de Paul. Patricia enjoyed painting, coloring, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia was Team Mom and scorekeeper, campfire leader and a professional chauffer to softball, baton and drama practice. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Arden Nelson. She is survived by daughters Laurie Bolin of Sedona, Shari Harris (Chuck) of San Diego, CA and Lisa Burke (Eric) of Cottonwood; brother Larry Toth (Jelene) of Glendale, AZ; sister Marianne Mickey (Joseph) of Littleton, CO; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00am at Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard St in Cottonwood.
