Paul Balabkins

Paul Balabkins, 79, of Cottonwood died August 8. He was born January 1, 1931 in Latvia, the son of Joseph and Anna Zeleskin Balabkins. He was employed by the Venice Maid Company in Vineland, New Jersey for 43 years. Mr. Balabkins was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Millville, New Jersey. He enjoyed gardening, drawing and writing. He was preceded in death by his wife 48 years, Valentina. He is survived by his daughters, Valentina Petrosky (Frank) of Cottonwood, Nina Harris (Kevin) of Moorestown, New Jersey and Mary Lamanteer (Michael) of Amarillo, Texas; brothers Nicholas Balabkins, Joseph Balabkins, Jr. and Alex Balabkins; sisters, Nina Arajs, Tatjana May and Lydia Cipkins; five grandchildren Tyler, Kevin, Jr.and Eric Harris; Gabriella and Cole Lamanteer. Funeral services will held at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. Local arrangements are by the Westcott Funeral Home.
