Paul Oliver Hines, 83, of Cottonwood died June 25. He was born February 13, 1920 in Union County, Illinois. He was a retired appraiser for the United States Department of Transportation. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Elks, Masons, Shriners and St. Thomas of the Valley Episcopal Church. He leaves his wife Kathleen \u0027\u0027Kay\u0027\u0027 Hines; two sons, Michael S. Hines and Patrick R. Hines, both of San Diego, California; two sisters, Wilma Lee Spicer of Mesa and Waneta Ledbetter of Mount Pleasant, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1 in the St. Thomas of the Valley Episcopal Church (next to the Clarkdale Post Office) at 11:00 A.M. Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Thomas of the Valley Church Building Fund. Westcott Funeral Home was entrusted with these arrangements.
