Paulette Owen, age 59 of Cottonwood, passed away November 11. She was born April 18, 1949 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Willie C. and Minnie Jackson. She studied nursing at Emory University for two years but had to leave to care for her son Keith who suffered with spinabifida. She was a devoted Marine wife to Jim Owen and loved her family, music, and wild life rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Keith Revels. She is survived by her husband of 31 years James; son Christopher Revels (Catherine) of Cottonwood; brother Nolan Randolth (Linda) of Chattanooga; sister Edith Alkins (Cecil) of Rindgold, Georgia; aunt Joul Gossit (Mitchell) of Madison, FL; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave Cottonwood. Donation in her memory may be made to The ARC of Roanoke Valley P.O.
