Pauline Gordon-Wapples, a resident of Camp Verde for the past 8 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the age of 91. She was born on February 22, 1916 in LAcadie, Quebec, Canada to Emile and Josephine Caron. Pauline was the beloved mother to one daughter, Judith Gorlick of Camp Verde. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kestrel Tobias Gorlick and Jai Ram Rideout; as well as her brother, Jean-Claude Caron; and her sister, Marthe Caron, both living in Quebec, Canada. Pauline spent much of her life in Canada before moving to Camp Verde to be with her family and grandsons. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and to her faith. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Camp Verde at 10:00am. Inurnment will follow at the Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde.
