Pedro "Pete" Moreno, 71, of Bisbee, AZ, went home with our Lord on December 8, 2006. He was born to Pedro and Petra Moreno on June 22, 1935 in Clarkdale, AZ. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He then went on to work 30 years with Phelps Dodge Mining Company in Ajo, Arizona and Playas, New Mexico. He later resided in Bisbee, Arizona and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Pete's happiest times were spent with his beloved wife, Edna, his four daughters, and his brothers and sisters. His wife, Edna Moreno, daughter, Linda Munoz, Son-in-Law, Bobby Munoz, brothers, Tony, Philpe, Jesus and his parents, Pedro and Petra Moreno, preceded Pete in death. Survivors include his daughters: Mapi (Will) Sanchez of Las Cruces, N.M., Delcia (John) Acosta of Bisbee, AZ., Frenchie (Anthony) Bejarano of Lordsburg, N.M. Brothers: Joe, Refujio, Rosendo and Sisters: Mary, Minnie, Espie, and Lago. He also has numerous nieces and nephews. He was very proud of his grandchildren, Bridget (Jason) Tobias, Daniel Moreno, Josh and Jessica Munoz, Sonya and Cecilia Acosta, Anthony and Briana Bejarano, as well as his five great grandchildren. A celebration of Pete's life will be held at Immaculate Conception in Cottonwood, Arizona. Rosary services will be on December 14, 2006 at Westcott Funeral Home at 7pm and the mass of the resurrection will follow on December 15, 2006 at 10 am.
