Perry Copper, 84, of Cottonwood died November 30. He was born July 18, 1925 in Ellwood City , Pennsylvania , the son of Victor and Hazel (Book) Copper. He was employed as a steel worker and machine operator. An avid horseman, he was a member of Western Saddleman \u0027s Association and was a stagecoach and wagon driver. His favorite horse was Pecos and he rode horses in numerous Phoenix parades. Mr. Copper also was an antique Ford enthusiast who also loved fishing. He trained hunting dogs, especially coon hounds. He was a second father to Justin and Candace. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Florence ; sons Bradley Copper of Phoenix and Boyd Copper of Cottonwood ; a daughter Kathaleen Copper of Flagstaff ; brother Tom Copper (Bobbi) of Pennsylvania and a sister Barb Gaston; two grandchildren.
