Peter W. Doyle, 74, of Cottonwood died February 2. He was born December 28, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Patrick Joseph and Mary Doyle. He was a graduate of Nativity schools and went to attend the University of Detroit. Mr. Doyle was an Army veteran. He owned Lakeview Printing in Belleview, Michigan for twenty-eight years before retiring and moving to Arizona. While in Michigan he was President of the Chamber of Commerce and was co-founder of the Public Safety Organization. An active member of the Knights of Columbus, he served as Grand Knight of Verde Council #2493 in Cottonwood and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church which he actively served. His hobbies included reading, golf, boating and motor-cycling. He was preceded in death by sisters, Jean, Pat \u0026 Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Doyle; sons Patrick (and his wife Suzette) and Michael (and his wife Michelle) all of Michigan; a sister, Mavourneen of Michigan; five grandchildren, Michael, Patrick Meaghan, Scott and Mason. A visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 6 from 5-7 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 7 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery. VFW Post #7400 will provide military honors.
