A Celebration of His Life February 3, 1945 - June 23, 2009 There is so much he was to so many of us. A loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, companion and friend. His memory will live on in each of those who were blessed to have been a part of his life. He touched so many lives, gave so many laughs, offered so much of himself in everything he did and spent much of his life taking care of those he loved. Raised in Chicago by his mother and father, Harry and June Rajca, he gave them joy that only a child can. He spent much of his adult life in Libertyville, Illinois, where he raised his 3 children, Diane, Jennifer and Brian, with then wife of 38 years, Susan Rajca. In later years, he enjoyed his days in Cornville, Arizona, where he met his loving companion, Virginia ('Ginny') Snyder. He returned to the midwest often to spend time with his family and visit his ever changing young grandchildren, Ella and Jack. Phil had a great love for golf, antique sports cars, off roading in his sunshine yellow Jeep, the Arizona sunsets and of course his new toy he was most excited about, that plane. 'What a beauty she is' he would say. Flying was one of lifes' greatest serenities for him. We have no doubt that the morning God called him home, he was at peace. Just him and that big blue sky. He is survived by his mother June Rajca, former wife Susan Rajca, his children and their families, Randy and Diane Bierman, Trevor, Jennifer, Ella and Jack Mooney, Dr. Brian and Amy Rajca and loving companion, Ginny Snyder. He will be dearly missed and forever cherished. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: The Leukemia Research Foundation In Memory of Philip H.
