Phillip Martin Schnur, 56, of Cottonwood died January 13. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Phillip was a longtime member of YES the Arc and a member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. He made friends every where he went. There wasn't a person that didn't fall in love with Phillip as soon as they met him. He didn't have a mean bone in his body, and loved to look at pretty women. He loved to go out to lunch with his brother Roger. He also loved riding in the "Rat rods" with his other brothers, Monty and Larry. Phillip enjoyed food, Elvis, Hot Rods, horses, planes, his wonder board, wii, camping, swimming, "holy" coaster, and kids. He was a happy fun loving guy and his favorite Elvis expression was a "Hunk of burning love". He was preceded in death by his longtime caretaker Maryjane Johnston. Phillip was loving cared for by Sharon and Don Pritchard and family. He leaves his brothers Roger, Monty, Larry, Ore and Carmon; sisters Jennie, Vickie, Machell, Sandy, Robin Shay, Danise, Bettsie; nieces and nephews and more friends than you can count. A memorial service was held January 15 at Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Contributions may be made to Yes the Arc, 427 South Willard Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
