Phyllis West Hunter, 73, of Clarkdale died September 12. She was born November 23, 1930 in West Dennis, Massachusetts. Mrs. Hunter and her husband established the local chapter of St. Vincent de Paul in 1992 and have administered the program since then with great devotion. She was also a member of TOPS 360. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Hunter; a son, Raymond \u0027\u0027Kip\u0027\u0027 Hunter of Canterbury, Connecticut; two daughters, Juanita \u0027\u0027Jay\u0027\u0027 Moffett of Pheonix and Gail Ann Montes of Carson City, Nevada; a brother, Alton West of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts; a sister, Evelyn Groom of Yarmouth, Massachusetts; six grandchildren Tim, Heather, Jodi, Billie Jo, Clint and Ray. The Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 16 in the Immaculate Conception Church at 6 PM. A Memorial Mass will be said on Friday, September 17 in the Immaculate Conception Church at 10 AM. The family request that any donations in her memory be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 700 N. Bill Grey Rd., Cottonwood 86326. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
