Ralph D. Whitt, 89 of Camp Verde, passed away on March 25, 2013. He was born on August 9, 1923 in Verney, West Virginia to Alex and Edith Whitt. Ralph served his country in the military as Army staff Sgt. and was presented with a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct medals, Middle Eastern Service Ribbon. Ralph was an avid golfer (Hole in One 4-4-2011), enjoyed yard work, tinkering in his workshop, taking care of the many birds that came to his birdhouses \u0026 feeders, and visiting and laughing with family and neighbors. He was a loving, gentle, honest, kind man that left a legacy of love and a happy spirit to his family. He was the best husband, father \u0026 Popo ever! Ralph left earth and arrived in Heaven where he can have a "Hole in One" everyday, with his loving family by his side in the home he loved. Ralph is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Maggie Lee Whitt of Camp Verde; son David Whitt (wife Dee Whitt) of Camp Verde, AZ; brother Don Whitt (wife Mabel) of Sun City, AZ; sister Nancy Bowers (husband Dave) of Sun City, AZ; granddaughter Tami Teague of Camp Verde, AZ; grandson Tim Svehaug of Colorado Springs, CO; great-grandchildren Josh Teague (Flagstaff), Laci Teague, KyLeigh Teague, Hannah Teague of Camp Verde, AZ; great-great-grandchild Daviniti Teague of Camp Verde, AZ and numerous Nieces \u0026 Nephews.
