Ramona C. Jauregui, 34, resident of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away at home on Monday, January 22, 2007. She was born on September 26, 1972 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Ruben Jauregui and his wife, Veronica. Ramona attended and graduated from Mingus Union High School in 1990. Following high school, she furthered her education at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Ramona was a beloved daughter and sister. Ramona was a loving, funny and gentle woman who enjoyed sharing her company and laughter. She was devoted to her family, friends, and pets. She was very talented in sports, including but not limited to, volleyball, basketball, softball, and tennis. She always participated with enthusiasm and good sportsmanship. Ramona enjoyed working in automobile and motorcycle mechanics, and she was skillful in both creative design and fine art. She was known for her resilience through times of adversity and admired for her creative thoughtfulness. Ramona's smile and warmth will be greatly missed by all that have known and loved her, especially her family. She is survived by her parents, Ruben and Veronica Jauregui; and her sister, Theresa Velazquez with her husband, Luis, of Virginia. A Rosary will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Friday evening, January 26, 2007 at 6:00pm. The Funeral Mass will follow Saturday morning, January 27, 2007 at 10:00am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
