Randy J. Evans

Randy Evans, 57, resident of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. He was born November 28, 1949 in Macon, Georgia to Albert and Joyce (Bloodworth) Evans. Randy was a United States Navy Veteran; he worked for and retired from Coors out of Golden, Colorado; currently, he was employed part-time with the Cottonwood Super Wal-mart. Randy was deeply loved by his family and friends; he was the type of person who always put their needs before his own. Though he has gone to be with the angels, and has left his pain behind, we know he is still with us. Randy leaves behind his wife of 11 years, Barbara Evans of Cottonwood; his daughters, Angela Evans with Dwayne Fontenette of Houston, Texas, and Nicole Taylor of Cottonwood; his son, Matthew Taylor of Cottonwood; his sisters, Charmian, Sherry, Crystal and Marcia; and his two grandchildren, who he raised as his own, Kenny and Joseph. A private service was held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, any donations to assist his family are greatly appreciated.
