Ray C. Benites, Sr.

Ray C. Benites, 88, passed away October 31, 2008 at Life Care Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was born June 21, 1920, in Arizona. Ray was a World War II U.S. Army veteran who served in the medical corps. He retired from his auto wrecking business in Phoenix. Ray was preceded in death by his loving wife, Armida, in 2006. Survivors include his son, Ray Jr. (Sally), and daughters Gloria Bluto, (Joseph), and Annette Benites. a sister, Carol Guillen of Utah, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church from 5-7 PM. The Rosary will be recited at 6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7 at the Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery where VFW Post 7400 will provide military honors.
