Raymond L. Gilbert II

Raymond LeRoy Gilbert II, 59, of Cottonwood died May 2. He was born August 31, 1945 in Wickenburg. He was a retired truck driver with Teamsters Local #104. Mr. Gilbert was a huge NASCAR fan, raced motorcycles, enjoyed cooking and baking, television and movies, cars, was an animal lover and also had been a photographer. He leaves two sons, Mark Landa of Pheonix and Robert Gilbert of Scottsdale; his mother Norma L. Gilbert of Cottonwood; brothers, Larry L. Gilbert of Buckeye and David L. Gilbert of Glendale; and one grandchild. His father Raymond L. Gilbert preceded him in death. Services will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Verde Valley Humane Society, P O Box 1429, Cottonwood 86326. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
