Raymond Charles Sangster, 83 of Cornville, passed away on September 14, 2011. He was born on March 15, 1928 in Lyons, Kansas to Charles Ford Sangster and Margaret Fern Sheets Sangster. Raymond worked as a research scientist at Texas Instruments in the 1950's and early 1960's and then in technical management for GT\u0026E and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Later in his career he was a technical editor, translator and scientific author for a large technical publishing company.His interests included a love of reading, history, music and the world of ideas. Raymond is survived by his wife, Kathie B. Sangster; daughter Laura Lynne Sangster Fovinci, her husband Mario and their daughter Laura, of Menlo Park, CA; daughter Rebecca Rhea Sangster Jensen, her husband John and their sons Christopher and Bryan, of Mountain View, CA; step-son David L. Christensen, Jr., his wife Staci and their son Damien, of Cottonwood, AZ; step-daughter Lisa A. Elliot, her husband Daniel and their children Josef, Brady and Alyssa, of Rimrock, AZ; and brother Wayne E. Sangster, his wife Lou Ann and their daughters Karen, Wendy and Julie, of Prairie Village, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margaret Sangster and his first wife, Laura Maire Farnum. There are no public services planned.
