Rebecca Griego

Rebecca Griego, 87, of Camp Verde died March 20, 2011 in Camp Verde. She was born July 23, 1923 in San Jose, New Mexico, the daughter of Delfido and Pillar Trujillo. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a longtime resident of Flagstaff before moving to Camp Verde. She had been a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church of Flagstaff and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Camp Verde. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Carlos and a son Benny. She leaves her sons Carlos Griego (Frances), Gilbert Griego (Cathy), Eloyed Greigo (Brenda) and Ernie Griego (Doreen); a daughter Linda Chavez (Richard); a sister Euilia "LaLa" Flores; nineteen grandchildren, thrity-eight great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be Thursday, March 24 from 5-7 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Camp Verde with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM.
