Rebecca J. Laughman

Rebecca J. Laughman, 69, died July 21, 2012 in Cottonwood. She was a native Arizonan. She was born and raised in Winslow and spent her adult life in Prescott, Phoenix and Flagstaff. Rebecca worked 25 years for Mountain Bell Telephone. When her job was moved to Colorado in 1988 she began a new career at the NAU Library. Her favorite things were books, opera and teddy bears. Rebecca was the daughter of the late June Kovacovich. She is survived by her uncle, Jacob Baker (Sally) of Cottonwood and her aunt, Lucinda Greiner of Sedona. Rebecca was in Cottonwood at Red Rock Care \u0026 Rehab and donated her personal library consisting of 1500 books to that facility for the enjoyment of the residents there. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Red Rock to purchase additional bookcases to hold the vast collections of books. Mail donations to Red Rock Care \u0026 Rehab, 197 S.
