Richard (Dick) E. Bogen of Dewey, AZ and formerly Orange CT passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was 86 years old. Richard was born on March 12, 1927 in Miami, FL to David F. and Rose (Lipshitz) Bogen. The family moved to Bridgeport, CT when Dick was very young. After growing up and attending school in CT, Dick served his country in the Army, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant in the European Theater. Dick was a toolmaker and an master engraver. He loved woodcarving, the outdoors and camping, and after retirement, he and his wife traveled for many years in their multiple RV\u0027s. Dick was a proud member of the Ansantawae Lodge #89 Milford CT a Masonic Lodge, and a 32nd Degree Scottish Right Mason. He was sent on his journey to greater light on Friday, November 8, 2013. His parents and his brother, Harvey Bogen, preceded Dick in death. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, in May, Peggy Bogen of Dewey, AZ; his daughters, Linda Vlack Trob of Albuquerque, NM and Wendy Bogen Peschman(Bob) of McHenry, IL; his son, Timothy Bogen(Lynn) of Hamden, CT; his grandsons, Dr.Jake Peschman and Zach Peschman of McHenry, IL; his nieces, Barbara Bogen Miller and Marcia Bogen Hanscome and his nephew Harvey Weissman.
