Richard Gilbert

Richard A. Gilbert, 56 of Cottonwood, passed away on June 18, 2014. He was born on July 16, 1957 in Lancaster, California to Auther and Janice Gilbert. Richard served his country in the Navy. He worked in construction with concrete and for Harley Davidson as a mechanic. Richard was a member of Verde Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf, sports and motorcycles. Richard was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Richard is survived by his wife of 25 years Debra Gilbert; sons Adam Gilbert and Ian Gilbert both of Cottonwood; daughter Sara Craig (Zach) of Cottonwood and 3 grandchildren: Owen, Addison and Jase. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:30am at Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard St. in Cottonwood. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
